I picked my project because not only do I like the outdoors, I
like to visit and meet new people, all while traveling. What better way
than to provide a service to the public than to make available a service that
might be limited in the area. It is to provide a service to the public
that is convenient when others don’t realize they might be in need of. In
today’s society it seems that convince fits into many peoples lifestyle.
For instant when heading out to watch sporting events, the average person
isn’t thinking about, will I need something to drink or eat while I am away
from home. No, it is convenient to grab something on the go or in the
moment. That’s where I came up with the idea of a portable smoothie
restaurant, also offering water and trial mix for a healthy snack. It
promotes a healthy choice, great conversation and while enjoying sports in the
outdoors. Trying to help promote healthy choices to others is beneficial
for me, I am selling healthy choices while away from home. As far as
marketing goes, my plan is to use social media postings on the event
websites. I would also reach out to venders to let them know about my
mobile restaurant and what I have to offer, getting event coordinators to
contact me to attend the events. If I were to get more requests than I
could fulfill myself, I would invest in a second mobile restaurant cart and
hire someone to bring on board to help. Before taking on the addition to my
business, I would make sure that I could find some one with the same passion of
promoting health and the motivation that I put into my business as if it was
there own.

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content
My creative content for my pop up restaurant would be
to market my business from different angles. An approach of marketing
would be to research out to sporting event coordinators are in my area.
Also events that is close enough to travel to and not occur a large traveling
expense. I would market my pop up restaurant on face book to friends and
family. A person’s inner circles of close people tend to be of the same
interests as an individual. For instance, people that have a face
book page tend to post things that they like or might be interesting to
others. It tends to multiple from there.
I would research sports website and work on posting a
creative link, grabbing peoples attention to want to find out what my pop up
restaurant was all about or where I will be located at. I would create a
flyer that I was able to send out via a mass email. Also to be able to
post it at local athletic clubs, sporting good stores and bicycle stores.
It is also good to diversity your company by exposing yourself in different
avenues. Pinterest is also good advertising and opens opportunities to a whole
different crowd. I would also set up a blog for the public to post their
experience of my pop up restaurant. I could also advertise on my page
something for the public to come say to me - like a word of the month when they
saw me at an event, that way I would see if the blog was working and the public
was reading it. I would just talk about my pop up restaurant to everyone
I came in contact with on a daily basis. Beings I am doing sports
photography and also traveling to sporting events I can reach out to the
photography industry also.

Week 9 EOC: Three great mission statements
“Fireybird Fajitas’ goal is to bring joy to the individual through
their delicious meats, cheeses and more.
This mission statement is good because it tells a specific’s on what
items they have to offer and how you will feel after your experience of eating
their food. I key is to get people to keep coming back. They want
people walking away from the experience and telling others.
Steffan Orozo; The Orozco’s mobile food truck is sure to give
everyone a real Mexican experience. Orzoc’s goal is to pass onto
consumers true- authenticity for Mexican food. It’s great to have a
choice of quality Mexican food by a mobile food truck.
The mission statement states the true passion towards Mexican
value. He is passionate about his hertiage and wants to pass it on
through food. People love to eat.
Humberto Bautista; Provides excellent service, customers add
employees will feel right at home in hopes to build a community. Our
mission at Ataco is to crete a memorable moment through food and music.
This mission statement is great because it shows that people will
come together for great food and music. What better way than to get to
know your community, by enjoying great food and enjoying the company of
others. The people that come together at a community function seem to
hang out with the same interests.

Implementation Evaluation Control
If I am not promoting my mobile restaurant in the proper
environments then my end result for my business will not be successful.
“Consumer value and relationships are at the center of marketing strategy and
programs.” (Pg. 61 2 Company and Marketing strategy partnering to build
Customer Relations, Armstrong & Kotler) I would seek out sporting
event websites, social media and visit local sporting stores. I would
schedule a meeting with event coordinators, to get the local events up and
coming. I would have a website and certain social media accounts set up
so that I could provide this information to whomever might give me the
opportunity to have my link posted to the local event website and not miss the
opportunity when asked. I would be proactive and asking the event
coordinators if I could provide them with my social media info so they would
take me serious. I would have goals set for my business’s accomplishments
whether good or bad to keep me on a on track. “Marketing control involves
four steps. Managing first sets specific marketing goals. It then
measures its performance in the marketing and evaluates the causes of any
difference between expected and actual performance. Finally, managing
takes corrective action to close the gaps between its goals and its
performance.” (Pg. 58, Marketing: An introduction, Armstrong & Kotler)
Price
Pricing is one of the three marketing strategy statements, which is the “planned value proposition.” (Pg. 250 Marketing: An Introduction, Armstrong & Kotler) Pricing will be a determining factor whether a business is successful or not. If your pricing is to high, people will pass your product by. If your pricing is to low, then your profit margin will not be enough to keep your business successfully moving forward and making your budget goals toward a successful investment. You want to make sure that you take in account all the details and then set back and pick a price point. Not only for the product you are selling in your mobile restaurant be some towards the up keep on the mobile it’s self. In my business plan I would start off with a price then set a three year goal with a small increase in the product I offer but try and set a max limit and work towards that goal if they business is doing well year after year. I would have a price for the smoothies, a pricing for the bottle water and also the prepackaged trail mix that I would be selling. If I wanted to take on a side adventure with the prepackaged trail mix I could look into finding a packing company that would work with me, I would purchase the trail mix myself in bulk. If my mobile restaurant became success early on I would look into taking on another product and adding it to the menu.
Promotion
With starting a small mobile restaurant I feel that promotions are
limited. I would have on my blog a word of the month - relating to a
sports theme. “New technologies have profoundly changed the ways in which
people relate to one another. New tools relating include everything from
e-mail, Web sites, blogs, cell phones, and video sharing to online communities
and social networks such as My Space, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.” ( Pg. 18
Marketing: An Introduction, Armstrong & Kotler) From there I would
keep a daily log along with my sales total to track where my business was
filtering, whether from social media or the vender’s websites. This would
help me to improve on either end for advertising. “As the pioneer moves
through later stages of the life cycle, it must continuously formulate new
pricing, promotion, and other marketing strategies. It has the best chance of
building and retaining market leadership if it plays its cards correctly from
the start.” (Pg 259 Marketing: Introductions, Armstrong & Kotler) If
my business grows fast reflecting monthly gains I might look into a promoting a
particular product and donating a dollar amount to a sports foundation and or a
sponsored athlete and help out towards their travel or entry fee. It
seems that in today’s society individuals are willing to pay the price if a
there is a good cause that a portion of there money is going towards knowing
the details behind it. If an individual has a background on the expenses
in which a sport can demand to travel and compete.
