I picked my project because not only do I like the outdoors, I
like to visit and meet new people, all while traveling. What better way
than to provide a service to the public than to make available a service that
might be limited in the area. It is to provide a service to the public
that is convenient when others don’t realize they might be in need of. In
today’s society it seems that convince fits into many peoples lifestyle.
For instant when heading out to watch sporting events, the average person
isn’t thinking about, will I need something to drink or eat while I am away
from home. No, it is convenient to grab something on the go or in the
moment. That’s where I came up with the idea of a portable smoothie
restaurant, also offering water and trial mix for a healthy snack. It
promotes a healthy choice, great conversation and while enjoying sports in the
outdoors. Trying to help promote healthy choices to others is beneficial
for me, I am selling healthy choices while away from home. As far as
marketing goes, my plan is to use social media postings on the event
websites. I would also reach out to venders to let them know about my
mobile restaurant and what I have to offer, getting event coordinators to
contact me to attend the events. If I were to get more requests than I
could fulfill myself, I would invest in a second mobile restaurant cart and
hire someone to bring on board to help. Before taking on the addition to my
business, I would make sure that I could find some one with the same passion of
promoting health and the motivation that I put into my business as if it was
there own.

Week 8 EOC: Creative Content
My creative content for my pop up restaurant would be
to market my business from different angles. An approach of marketing
would be to research out to sporting event coordinators are in my area.
Also events that is close enough to travel to and not occur a large traveling
expense. I would market my pop up restaurant on face book to friends and
family. A person’s inner circles of close people tend to be of the same
interests as an individual. For instance, people that have a face
book page tend to post things that they like or might be interesting to
others. It tends to multiple from there.
I would research sports website and work on posting a
creative link, grabbing peoples attention to want to find out what my pop up
restaurant was all about or where I will be located at. I would create a
flyer that I was able to send out via a mass email. Also to be able to
post it at local athletic clubs, sporting good stores and bicycle stores.
It is also good to diversity your company by exposing yourself in different
avenues. Pinterest is also good advertising and opens opportunities to a whole
different crowd. I would also set up a blog for the public to post their
experience of my pop up restaurant. I could also advertise on my page
something for the public to come say to me - like a word of the month when they
saw me at an event, that way I would see if the blog was working and the public
was reading it. I would just talk about my pop up restaurant to everyone
I came in contact with on a daily basis. Beings I am doing sports
photography and also traveling to sporting events I can reach out to the
photography industry also.

Week 9 EOC: Three great mission statements
“Fireybird Fajitas’ goal is to bring joy to the individual through
their delicious meats, cheeses and more.
This mission statement is good because it tells a specific’s on what
items they have to offer and how you will feel after your experience of eating
their food. I key is to get people to keep coming back. They want
people walking away from the experience and telling others.
Steffan Orozo; The Orozco’s mobile food truck is sure to give
everyone a real Mexican experience. Orzoc’s goal is to pass onto
consumers true- authenticity for Mexican food. It’s great to have a
choice of quality Mexican food by a mobile food truck.
The mission statement states the true passion towards Mexican
value. He is passionate about his hertiage and wants to pass it on
through food. People love to eat.
Humberto Bautista; Provides excellent service, customers add
employees will feel right at home in hopes to build a community. Our
mission at Ataco is to crete a memorable moment through food and music.
This mission statement is great because it shows that people will
come together for great food and music. What better way than to get to
know your community, by enjoying great food and enjoying the company of
others. The people that come together at a community function seem to
hang out with the same interests.

Week 7 EOC: Pitch
My restaurant pop up design would be to have a portable
smoothie cart. The cart would attach
onto my bicycle so that it would be mobile, I could take it anywhere. I
would have a way to plug the cart into an electrical outlet in the evening to
reach a certain temperature so that my products would stay cool up to a certain
amount of time. I would travel locally
to bike races or various sport functions while also enjoying photography. I
would design the inside of the cart to be made like the inside of a cooler,
with various compartments to hold fruits, ice or misc. smoothie items. I would also design a way to be able to have a
small gas powered generator hooked to the cart so that I was able to have power
to operate a small blender to prepare my product. Making this a mobile
cart I could ride my bicycle anywhere. I would also have cold water
bottles and bags of premade trail mix available. There are times when certain sporting events
are in remote areas. This would be great
for athletes after a race to have a recovery drink/ smoothie or just something
to snack on after a race. Some athletes
have special medical needs where they need to have something right after
completing. There are even times where
spectators don’t bring enough water to last the day and need something to
drink, especially children. I know there has been times when this has been
the situation for my family or myself. I
would be able to take payments for my services by having the credit card swipe
devise attached to my cellular phone. It seems that everyone travels with
a credit card instead of cash. Being in a remote area and carrying
cash might not be a great idea.

Week 6 EOC: MEx3
First
item that identifies me is a bicycle. It
doesn’t matter if it is a road bicycle, mountain bicycle or electric commuter
bicycle, I love everything that has two wheels and I am the motor. When
I am on my bicycle, I feel free. My body is the motor and my mind gives
me the strength to push through anything. Over the years I have enjoyed
racing my bicycle and have become friends with many cyclists over the
years. I am a driver on a tandem bicycle for a blind athlete and I get
great satisfaction seeing the smile on his face when he is able to enjoy the
sport of cycling, especially when we are competing. Even on a bad day I
enjoy the sport of cycling in the great outdoors.

Second
item which identifies me is my Camera. It brings out the best of my
creativity and lets me express my ideas through photography. I took up
photography because when I travel I like to share the landscape with my family
and friends. Learning photography fits into all aspects of my life style.
I really enjoy it because I can complete a project at my own pace. Photography keeps me relaxed and my mind off
of the everyday routine. Another great
thing for me about Photography is that I can do it independently, having no
boss or administration to answer to and I can go anywhere, so I am not stuck in
a cubical.

Third item which identifies me is a Nutribullet machine. There is not a day that goes by that I do not use this machine. My health is the most important to me. Eating right is my biggest concern. I want to live a long and health life Fitness is also another thing that identifies me. I believe that fitness leads to a healthy lifestyle. My family and I are very active and enjoy doing physical fitness activities together. The level of cycling that I do, I need to be in the best health and shape that I can be in. I also have to watch what I eat and prepare most of my food at home. If I didn’t focus on my health, I wouldn’t be able to do the things I love.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting
It seems that social media has become the way of
communications all around the world.
Companies have figured out how to recruit ambassadors offering them products
and misc. items to promote their products and or services. The ambassadors, then uses the product and or
services in their everyday living environment, sharing the information with
family and friends. People in today’s
society like to brag or talk about what goes on in their everyday life. The general public seems to be wrapped up in
social media as to what everyone in the world has going on in their lives. Now they have Instagram, apps where you can
follow celebrities, family and friends.
We post pictures of what we are doing or bragging what cool products we
are using. This leads to comments and
even conversations posted where people are asking questions or associates that
have the same interests in common that you might not even know about. From there individuals have made contacts
with their family and friends. Knowing
some or most of them follow some type of social media. In today’s society we
are always turning to the Internet to research information, find jobs or just
to stay up to date with the latest news going on in the world with followers of
their media. We tend to blog comments
whether good or bad to pass onto others about what is happening in our
lives. Which has turned into a huge
networking system for everyone. Facebook
has the brilliance of using their own web base users” to find new employees,
threatening traditional job boards and competing with other web base companies.
“ (Recruiters Troll Facebook for Candidates They Like). It appears that 50% of people seeking jobs
are more likely to search on Facebook then any other social media groups.

Week 4 EOC: New Phone App
I am
developing an App for all cellular phones to be able to communicate with other
human beings, doing this by translating the sender’s message in a polite and
professional manner to the receiver. There could be times that your word
combination comes off to strong and while finding yourself not being able to
communicate with others. Because they either speak another language and
you can hardly make out what they are saying, or they were born in a different
era and don’t understand you. It might be that you do not have any common
sense, or you just have a personality that others just don't understand, then
this App is for you. The App is extremely easy to use. You would be
able to download the App for a 30-day trial or you would have the opportunity
sign a yearly contract. You would speak into the cellar device with the
desired language and demeanor that you always have, so it would be natural to
the human. The App will translate this by using common sense, being
respectful, and with proper tone and having the ability to communicate with
anyone. I would have a language translator option depend on whatever
language you speak. It would not matter the age or era of the
receiver, this App is a communicator for all Human being. The App
would be great for teens, as it seems like there communication skills have been
limited with all the technology that they have grown up on. Teenagers
today seem to communicate via texting, or messaging each other instead of
having a person-to-person conversation. This could also help the human
race communicate in the every day world. I would make this App simple and
inexpensive so that all humans, no matter the age would take advantage using my
app.
